Calhoun – serves as Chairman and CEO. Mr. Calhoun
has 48 years of industry experience. He spent the
first 25 years as a retail agent and the last 23
years marketing and managing Intestate’s wholesale
operation. His knowledge and insight of the Louisiana
marketplace coupled with his long term agency relationships
has delivered profitable results for all of his carriers. |
Lawrence
Calhoun – serves as President and COO. Mr. Calhoun
is charged with the day to day operations of Interstate.
He started his career in 1979 and all of it has been
spent with Interstate. His primary focus is reviewing
all underwriting and loss results and making necessary
changes to maintain a profitable status. |
Helen
Turner – serves as Secretary. Mrs. Turner oversees
Human Resources, payroll and is property manager
for the building which Interstate owns and leases
to tenants.
She has been with Interstate since 1991. |
Roger
Foggin – serves as Vice President of Claims.
Mr. Foggin is charged with overseeing and operating
our in house claims department. Mr Foggin has over
35 years of claims experience. He has done everything
from adjusting, appraisals, helping start a company
form the ground up and has also been on the underwriting
side of the business. |
Gwen
Jackson – Vice President. Mrs. Jackson is in
charge of production of all of the paper that flows
through the office. She oversees the work that is
required to issue policies and process endorsements
in a timely manner.

Patricia McCall – serves as Vice President of Accounting. Mrs. McCall overseas all areas of the accounting department which also includes cancellations, and our Interstate Premium Finance company.
